What practical help is available?
Hall & Woodhouse encourages its employees to partake in local community work, a local community that in many cases they both live and work in. Hall & Woodhouse gives each employee an additional day's holiday to carry out this work.
The Community Chest invites applications for practical work. Employees and departments in the Company then choose the application which best matches their skill set. When applying please identify any skills required and the estimated number of hours to complete the job.
Practical help can also come in the shape of an outing to the Brewery for a special needs group. In recent years both the WIN Group and the Dorset Blind Association have enjoyed a trip to the Brewery Visitor Centre.
It may not be possible to complete all of the applications for practical help.
Insurance
Hall & Woodhouse employees are covered by the Company's employers and public liability insurance however organisations requesting practical help should have their own public liability insurance.
