Dorset Community Hero 2010

Hall & Woodhouse have launched a new award to recognise Dorset's community heroes. The awards will be run in conjunction with their highly successful Community Chest with the help of key partners Blackmore Vale Media who will provide publicity while H&W will put up a pool of an additional £2,000.

The aim of the awards is to reward those people in Dorset who are dedicated to their particular organisation and work tirelessly for it for the benefit of others without any personal recognition. Any type of organisation may submit a nomination, however the awards are open to adults only. The successful award winner's organisation will benefit from a share of £2,000 to be spent on them as the winner sees fit. Applications can be made online and forms will be printed in the Blackmore Vale and Community Magazines. The deadline for applications is Monday 10th May 2010.
