 The award winning England's Gold is a fresh light ale with a crisp taste and zippy floral aroma. Flavours of white grape and melon develop to reveal a subtle bitterness... a taste that is quintessentially English.
Brewed at the 'Hall & Woodhouse Brewery' in the heart of the Dorset countryside, England's Gold is the culmination of lots of hard work from our Head Brewer and his team; resulting in a truly great beer.
And that's not just our opinion! England's Gold beat over 150 Ales to triumph at the 2005 Tesco Brewing Awards. The prize of this prestigious event is a listing with Tesco, making England's Gold available in Tesco stores throughout the UK. Since being launched to the general public England's Gold has caught the eye of many Ale fans and tempted them with its unique characteristics and wonderful flavour.
 England's Gold is the third winner from Hall & Woodhouse at the Tesco Brewing Awards, we have also had success with Golden Glory and Golden Champion and Blandford Fly was a runner up.
